Established in 2015, the CFUW Aurora/Newmarket Charitable Trust is a registered charity that provides scholarships and bursaries to help local young women pursue post-secondary education. The Trust operates independently from the CFUW Aurora/Newmarket Club while continuing its long tradition of educational support.

Building on decades of support for women in education, the Charitable Trust continues CFUW Aurora/Newmarket's commitment to creating educational opportunities for future generations.
Working alongside generous donors, sponsors, educational institutions, and community partners, the Trust extends its reach and creates even more opportunities for local students.
Through scholarships and bursaries funded by member donations, fundraising, and endowments, the Charitable Trust helps local students pursue post-secondary education and build brighter futures.

Growing Our Impact
Community partnerships and fundraising initiatives—including our annual Home & Garden Tour—help grow our scholarship program. Since 2016, these efforts have raised more than $320,000, expanding both the number and value of scholarships awarded.
Established to Support Young Women in Our Community
The Charitable Trust of the Canadian Federation of University Women Aurora/Newmarket Inc., a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency, was established in 2015 and continues the legacy of supporting post-secondary education scholarships for women. The Trust exists at arm’s length from the CFUW Aurora/Newmarket club.
