Break the Silence: Join Us November 1st
Walk for Yellow Brick House
Every dollar and every step helps break the silence and create safer pathways forward!
Our Goal: Last year, our CFUW team raised $3,005. This year, we are aiming even higher!
Date & Location: Sunday, November 1, 2026, at St. Andrew’s College, Aurora
The Cause: Supporting women and children affected by gender-based violence. Funds raised will support public education and prevention programs that empower youth and adults to recognize abuse, build healthy relationships, and access help early.

CFUW members are joining three community events from November 2 to December 6 to honour those affected by gender-based violence and call for change. Explore the events and find out how to take part.

Join us for our November speaker, Nivedita Balachandran, Executive Director of Women's Centre of York Region, speaking about strengthening and protecting Canada's democracy.
Festive Lunch – December 3, 2026
Once again, we will be back at Stonehaven Banquet Hall. This is one our most popular social events of the year – a wonderful way to start the holiday season.
Contributions benefit our outreach programs and donations to the Winter Warmth table will be given to Inn from the Cold and Rose of Sharon.
